Rise in usage of tech by Maoists

After many trips deep into the forests on the borders of Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Chhattisgarh, Sudhakar filed reports providing insight into the lives of Maoists and locals residing in and around jungles. Sudhakar focused on the rise of the use of technology within Maoist groups. Extensive use of FM radio and hoarding of modern warfare such as rockets have become integral to extreme left wing functioning and this was explained in detail in Sudhakar’s articles. Spy equipment scam

The Naidu government’s initiative to buy Aerostat, surveillance equipment from Israel, was flagged by the current administration after it was alleged that the company procuring the equipment was owned by former DGP AB Venkateshwara Rao’s son.

Sudhakar wrote about the timeline that stretched from one administration to the other during which time various attempts were made to stall the deal until the new government canceled the order revealing procedural irregularities.
